Rockville Center Tudor Style Home - Master Bathroom Addition
Jaime Jamin was hired as an interior designer to coordinate a guest bathroom renovation as well as convert an enclosed porch area into a master bathroom. The goal was to maintain the integrity of the Tudor style home, yet incorporate modern and functional bathrooms. The master bathroom was once an enclosed porch that is situated off of the master bedroom with a step down into the space. It now consists of a level floor with radiant heating under the rustic grey ceramic tile throughout. The bathroom has a large shower, two vanities and an undermounted air jet soaking tub. The shower wall tiles have a crackled and rumpled appearance in a navy blue tone. The shower also has white quartz (w/light veining) accents featured on the bench, niche outline and threshold. The vanities are also navy blue in tone with deep brass finishes blending well with the light fixtures and mirrors over the vanities. The wall color is light grey that blends well with the stones set in the shower base. The toilet has its own small space that is separated by a pocket door for privacy. This master bathroom is bright and spacious offering a tranquil and spa-like retreat.
